We are a growing African & Caribbean grocery store committed to providing high-quality products, excellent service, and a welcoming shopping experience for our community. We are looking for energetic, reliable, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Customer Experience Associates.
As a Customer Experience Associate, you will play a key role in creating a positive and professional shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers, operate the POS system, maintain product knowledge, support store operations, and help ensure the store remains organized, stocked, and welcoming at all times.
We are looking for team members who are proactive, dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming shopping experience
Operate the POS system accurately and efficiently
Assist customers with product recommendations and answer questions confidently
Develop strong knowledge of store products, including African and Caribbean grocery items
Restock shelves and maintain clean, organized displays
Monitor product quality and report low stock or inventory concerns
Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary
Support daily store operations and assist teammates when needed
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store
Take initiative to improve the customer experience and overall store environment
Previous retail or grocery store experience preferred
Experience operating POS systems and handling transactions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and reliability
Ability to learn product knowledge quickly and confidently assist customers
Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative without constant supervision
Flexible availability, including weekends, is an asset
